Thoughts from Malawi

As I have been thinking back on my first day here in Malawi I can't help but laugh. Africa is so far out of my comfort zone I always said I couldn't live here. It would be too much and I couldn't survive without the comforts of home.

I went my whole undergrad telling myself my grades didn't matter because I wasn't ever going to go to grad school, but look at me now, getting my Masters degree in Africa. It is funny that whatever you say you will never do something that is the thing you end up doing.

Never say never and never test God because he will prove to you his power. In my weakness he is strong and it is a reminder that I am not in control. I need to constantly trust God because he has a plan.
